Nestled in the heart of the mountains, the Forest Villa appears as an ordinary structure within the woodland, yet it unveils a hidden paradise amidst rocky cliffs and steep slopes. The challenge of harmonizing the architectural design with the natural terrain was a focal point of this project, aiming to seamlessly integrate the building with the surrounding landscape, creating a harmonious and vibrant environment.
The utilization of the varying ground elevations became a key element in the project's design strategy. To address the significant slope, a garage was ingeniously incorporated, offering convenient parking for daily use. The ground floor was strategically placed on another elevated platform, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing and multi-dimensional architectural composition.
On the opposite side of the platform, a courtyard serves as a tranquil space for tea sessions in summer, bathed in excellent sunlight during winter. The second-floor bedrooms boast spacious balconies, providing splendid views of the surroundings for daily relaxation.
Situated to the north of the villa is a high rocky outcrop, perfectly aligning with the drop in elevation on the second floor, enhancing the bedroom's panoramic views of the picturesque back mountains.
The villa features double-glazed aluminum alloy glass doors leading to mountain paths, creating a seamless connection with the outdoors and enhancing the overall spatial experience. Wooden flooring leads to the extended balcony, serving as a viewing platform for the second floor.
The interior living room is elevated, creating a two-story open space with panoramic windows that enhance the sense of space and provide expansive vistas. Incorporating natural ventilation, lighting, and solar heating systems beneath the conventional wooden flooring minimizes the building's energy consumption.
The kitchen, accompanied by a dining area, accommodates multiple guests and offers scenic views through windows that open to the extended balcony. A fireplace, crafted from locally sourced and eco-friendly wood, provides both warmth and sustainability, reflecting the abundant natural resources surrounding the site.
In essence, the Forest Villa epitomizes a harmonious fusion of modern living and natural beauty, offering a retreat where residents can immerse themselves in the tranquility of the mountains while enjoying sustainable and luxurious living.
